For the later half of July, I tried a roll of a new-to-me film stock, Harman Phoenix ii.

To be honest, I don’t feel like this one is for me. I love low-grain, sharp film stocks, but this ended up being a grainy, moody one.

It wasn’t entirely on purpose, but I ended up taking a lot of photos of things I’ve shot before, which makes for some interesting contrasts. I will note that none of these were on the same day, in the same lighting, or even framed exactly the same way, so it’s not an exact comparison.

The film is an ISO 200 stock and for the most part, I shot it outdoors. The photos I like the most are the ones in direct, bright sunlight. Maybe I metered it wrong in the shaded photos.
