I have acquired another used but new-to-me lens! This time, a 21mm lens. I also picked up an external finder for it, which is a slightly different workflow, having separate focusing and framing windows. I’ve shot a bunch of photos on my Q with a 28mm lens, but this was a different experience, I wasn’t sure how it would turn out!
I picked T-Max 100 for this first test, and I am so pleased with these photos. I knew that a wide angle lens would be more forgiving for focusing, but I am floored at how sharp these turned out.
Around SF
I kept the lens on me as I ran a few normal errands around town and to a friend’s.

Building corners are still interesting but not at all the same
Lake Tahoe & Nevada
My friend Leah and I spent a few days up in Tahoe, dogsitting our other friend’s dog, Annabelle.
Mother Lake
We drove over to Carson City, Nevada and walked around the Prison Hill trail with my friend Sean, which had some stunning views.
Usually I buy rolls of T-Max 100 with 36 exposures. Somehow this time, I picked up one with only 24 exposures. I hit the end of the roll and it got stuck (as it should), but I was expecting 12 more shots. I tried rewinding the roll a bit, thinking that might help. It didn’t magically make more shots appear on the roll, but it did give me this little double-exposure shot.
